Born and raised in Sterling, Illinois, Elliot Campos fell in love with cinema after viewing "The Shawshank Redemption." Soon after, he won a national filmmaking competition from HBO Family, and his path was set. When he wasn't devouring every movie he could get his hands on, Elliot wrote countless short scripts and managed to film a couple of 'em. He also acted in school plays like "M*A*S*H," "Little Women" and Disney's "High School Musical." At Columbia College Chicago, Elliot took screenwriting classes while participating in extracurricular projects. Just months after he arrived, his script "Tiger in the Room" was filmed by student production team Cinergy. He went on to write for two of Columbia's Practicum films and generated movie reviews, short stories and news articles for sci-fi website Phathom. Elliot appeared in three episodes of Elvis Kunesh's "The Windy City" as nerdy stalker Simon Fergus. The character was a big hit with the fans, and the soon-to-be-legendary Elvis was so impressed with Elliot's improvisation ability that he wrote, "[Elliot] might be the only person who's been on the show who's funnier than me." Elliot currently lives in Los Angeles. Email: elliot@splotstudios.com |
